About Lions Club Delhi - Noida

A community service club connected with Lions International and rooted in the needs of Noida and nearby areas.

Origin Story

On the formation of Noida as one of the biggest industrial cities of Uttar Pradesh in 1980, industrialists and prominent citizens felt a need to perform their social and moral responsibility. They required a platform from where they could serve poor and needy villagers of Noida and nearby communities.

Lion Rajiv Mittal took the initiative to form a group and associate it with Lions Clubs International. On 2 October 1987, Lions Club Delhi - Noida was formed with a group of generous members. On 22 May 1988, the club received its formal charter from Lions Clubs International under District 321-A1.
